Subtitle: View of Nojima Island Seen from Seto Bridge Utagawa ToyokuniⅡ 1830-34 The scene of sails returning to the port at dusk is illustrated. The bridge depicted in the lower portion of the print is Seto Bridge, a unique bridge made up of two small bridges that are connected by an island in the middle. The building depicted in the lower right is likely the inn Azuma-ya, in which a banquet appears to be taking place. |
