解説かいせつ

Utagawa Yoshituya 1863 It stops raining and a rainbow arched on the sky. Since ichimon-sen coins are scattered around the ground, the fighting workers might have gambled while waiting for the rain to stop. Since the pattern of the gaiters are different, it is also considered that this fight might takes place between different groups. The down slope is illustrated to the back of the picture and the proceeding procession is expressed with the tips of onnagae, the long handle ritual armors. Two attendants who are behind the procession are following it in haste.
