解説かいせつ

 Utagawa HiroshigeⅡ 1854 The lively scene of the Goyu post station is illustrated. Since Goyu post station is only 1.7km away from the next Akasaka post station, the inns scramble for guests, and even in this picture, several tome-on’na (women employees of inns who compulsorily tries to bring travelers to their inns) are pulling the sleeves and luggage of travelers.
