解説かいせつ

 Utagawa Hiroshige The production date:1840 The scenery of Shio-mi-zaka Slope, which is located east side of Shirasuka post station is depicted. The Sea of Enshu is extended on the background. Shio-mi-zaka Slope was famous with its great view. This series of ukiyo-e is called “The Toukaidou with Kyouka Poems” since a kyouka poem is assorted to every ukiyo-e picture.
