解説かいせつ

 Utagawa Hiroshige 1840 On the way to Mariko post station from Okabe post station, travelers had to cross a mountain pass called Utsu-no-yama (The mountain of Utsu). This series of ukiyo-e is called “The Toukaidou with Kyouka Poems” since a kyouka poem is assorted to every ukiyo-e picture.
