Syourinsai Hidemaro Production date:1804-1818 Two women, followed by a porter, are walking on the beach to the direction of Kamakura and the scenery of Enoshima Island is illustrated on the background. This work is surimono (privately issued and distributed luxurious print) with a kyouka poem and distinctive with the delicate expression of the print and color of the waves. The artist Hidemaro was a pupil of Utamaro I and he produced many pictures of beauties. |
