A fort can be seen at the center of the sea in the background. It was built by the shogunate upon the arrival of Perry in 1853 and still remains today as a park. Wrritten by Kanagaki Robun　 Illustrated by Ochiai Yoshiiku 1860 Since Kita-san looks at something else while he is walking on the street, he was hit his head by a pole that an express messenger holds.
