Utagawa HiroshigeⅢ The production date:1875 In front of an inn of a post station, women called “tome on’na”, the employees of inns who persistently attempting to bring travelers into their inns are illustrated. The audiences such as women from the second floor and shopfront, and other travelers are entertained by this scene. The scene of travelers and tome on’na was a typical theme of the ukiyo-e from the Edo period. |
