解説かいせつ

 Horidome Canal was opened in 1871 and the scenery of the port of ferryboats located on the east side of the canal is illustrated. The route of the Horidome Canal skipped the route that detour the former Toukaidou post stations such as Maisaka, Arai and Shirasuka, went directly to Shinjo, which was located westside of the Lake Hamana and prospered as a new line.
