Devido à sua correnteza forte, o rio Tenryū era conhecido como “Abaretenryū” (Tenryū furioso) e a travessia era feita por barco. Com o tempo, foi construída uma ponte sobre o rio. Tenryu River has been known with its rapid stream, therefore during the Edo period, people crossed the river using the ferry service. However, a bridge was constructed over the river in Meiji period. |
