解説かいせつ

Utagawa HiroshigeⅢ The production date:1875 The scenery of the grand Mt. Fuji is illustrated on the top half of the picture, and Mt. Ashitaka is illustrated at the foreground of Mt. Fuji. At the foot of the mountains, a marshland called “Ukishima-ga-hara” stretches out. Since this post station was famous with the eels from this marsh, the scenery of people who catch fish by casting a net is illustrated.
