 Utagawa HiroshigeⅢ The production date:1875 During the Edo period, the Rokugou Ferry was often illustrated as a typical scenery of the Toukaidou Highway. In the Meiji period, as the railway started to operate, a bridge was constructed over the Rokugou River, and the steam locomotive also started to cross the river by a bridge.
