Artist: Utagawa Yoshimori Production date: 1863 (Bunkyu 3) Shogun is crossing Oi River by riding on the palanquin situated on a carrier. His retainers are also crossing the river and the ways of crossing varies according to their rankｓ. Some of them are riding on a carrier while the other were carried by men. The leading groups of the procession already passed by the Kanaya post station, illustrated by the shore, and already climb down the mountain pass on the other side of the mountain. |
