資料名しりょうめい	Nihonbashi , from the series “Fifty-three Pairings for the Toukaidou Highway”
作者さくしゃ	Utagawa Kuniyoshi Utagawa Kuniyoshi 寛政9年11月15日～文久元年3月5日(1797～1861)。江戸日本橋染物屋の生まれで、幼名芳三郎、俗称孫三郎。初代豊国の門人で柴田是真、勝川春亭にも学んでいます。作画期は文化9年頃から万延元年(1812-1860年)で画号は国芳の他、一勇斎(文政初期～万延元年)、採芳舎(文政中期)、朝桜楼(天保元年～万延元年)、雲谷仙真などがあります。文政末年、水滸伝豪傑錦絵シリーズで人気を得、武者絵、洋風風景画を得意とします。門人は芳虎、芳艶、芳幾、芳年など多数います。閉じる
解説かいせつ	Utagawa Kuniyoshi Production date:1844-47 The red handrail illustrated at the foreground is Nihonbashi Bridge, the starting point of the Toukaidou Highway. The bridge is illustrated with the Edo Castle on the left and Mt. Fuji on the right, the typical composition to express the bridge.
