Artist: Utagawa Hiroshige Shichiri-ga-hama Beach is illustrated as if to looked down from a hill. It is considered this landscape was viewed from Koshigoe. The travelers walk on a beach, wearing straw hats and holding sticks are illustrate in a small size. In a distance, Mt. Fuji covered with the white snow on the top is illustrated. From the vermillion color at the horizon, suggested time is the sunset. This work is distinctive with the balance of colors, that various colors of blue, vermilion, green and yellow are allotted in a perfect balance in the small ko-ban size picture. |
