解説かいせつ

 Inspired by a Chinese novel, this story is based in the Nanbokuchō period. Karakoto Uraemon presents goldfish from China to the military governor to gain a promotion and is granted a fine sword. However, due to marital conflicts, his wife betrays him, steals his sword, and kills his concubine. He chases his wife and her lover for revenge, but ends up being killed. Furthermore, the goldfish that bears grudge of the murdered concubine causes evil and curses the characters. The second part was not published, and the final ending is unknown.
