Heitei (Hata) Ginkei 1833 (Tempou 4) This is a travel guide book of the journey along the Toukaidou Highway from the origin of Nihonbashi station through Totsuka, Fujisawa and Enoshima Island. Many famous places with the great views, the local products, cultures and foods along the Highway are introduced. The famous sites, such as the historical architectures and the incidents that took place at the particular sites are also described . The illustrations were done by twenty six artists including a notable artist of the late Edo period Tani Bunchou. There are also various marine products, such as the Enoshima’s local products are illustrated. |
