The possessions of the followers are illustrated distinctively in large size. The next station, Kambara post station was located at the foreground of the picture, or the west side of the Fuji River.

The procession is passing through a notable location with Hidari Fuji - Mt.Fuji visible on the left. On horseback is probably the Shogun with a red parasol held over him from behind. Note the unique facial differences of each man in the procession.

Artist: Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) Production date: 1863 (Bunkyu 3) The travelers on a break at a teahouse and a waitress are illustrated with the background scenery of a procession. Farther back of the procession, the grand Mt Fuji is illustrated. Illustrated place is considered to be the tateba (rest stop) of Ipponmatsu since this place gained a reputation as the great scenic spot that travelers can view the biggest Mt. Fuji along the Toukaidou Highway.

Artist: Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) Production date: 1863 (Bunkyu 3) In this picture, Mishima post station, which was situated about the gate of the Mishima Taisha Shrine is illustrated. This station was also known with Mishima Jorou-shu, the women prostitutes of the post station and crowded with many travelers. At the foreground, the prostitutes get dressed and put on makeup while the scene of a procession passing in front of the Torii Gate of the Mishima Taisha Shrine is illustrated on the upper part of the picture.

Artist: Utagawa Yoshimori Production date: 1863 (Bunkyu 3) A procession is passing through the Hakone Barrier. All officials come down from the veranda and kneel down on the ground.

Artist: Utagawa Kunitsuna Production date: 1863 (Bunkyu 3) At Odawara, there was an old medicine merchant family, Uirou Family from the Muromachi period, and a procession is passing in front of the residence of the family. The family sold a well-known, versatile medicine called uirou, and this was recognized as Odawara’s local specialty.

Artist: Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) Production date: 1863 (Bunkyu 3) As many of the Kunisada’s pictures, the composition of beauty with the famous place on the back is illustrated. The illustrated lady is Lady Tora-Gozen and she has a connection to Oiso. Since the pattern of her kimono, “hama-chidori (birds and waves)” is same as that of her lover Soga Jyurou, their relationship is suggested. .
