The scenery of aggressive act of touting such as grabbing a person by the collar or the luggage was a distinctive feature of post stations along Highways.

Wrritten by Kanagaki Robun　 Illustrated by Ochiai Yoshiiku When Kita-san stays at a cheap hotel, he tries to steal into a bed of a young girl who stays at the same hotel, but by mistake, he steals into a bed of an old lady from the hotel. It causes a trouble, and eventually, the floor gave way under his feet, and he dropped off from the second floor to the inside of a butsudan (a family Buddhist alter) of the first floor.

Wrritten by Kanagaki Robun　 Illustrated by Ochiai Yoshiiku Kita-san and Yaji-san take a break at a teashop with a great scenic view of Mt. Fuji at Satta Touge (Satta mountain-pass). The local food of Satta moutanin-pass was yaki-sazae (grilled turban-shell). Kita-san cries out for help since a sazae nips his finger.
